Waster Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) guidance and regulations aim to promote the sustainable management of electrical equipment. The key points that are revenant to your lighting project are below:
Recycling
The guidance provides instructions on how to separate WEEE into different categories for recycling and recovery of valuable materials.
Treatment
The regulations give guidance on how to deal with the hazardous substances found in WEEE to ensure that they are safely handled to reduce contamination on the environment.

The guidance promote the proper disposal of WEEE that can’t be recycled.
How Do We Ensure Effective Waste Management?
During the completion and within the installation stage of your project we ensure that as the lighting products are removed, they are collated in a free space or a loading space on your site.
If required, we can support with the arranging of a refuse container. This means that waste products can be collected as the project progresses. At the end of your project, we can support the collection of the refuse container or alternatively we can collect the waste and properly dispose of it for you.
