Lightsave started in 1992 as a company that mostly dealt with the supply of lightbulbs, lamps and related electrical products. Since then, we have evolved into an independent electrical wholesaler with decades of experience in LED lighting and providing sustainable lighting solutions.

FAQs
A site survey usually lasts for several hours. During this process we will count the number of lights and products that need replacing and the various rooms and areas that these are currently in. This process can take time as we are very careful to make sure we are as accurate as possible. The time this process takes also depends on the site’s size and the project’s demands and remit. We also spend time recording the capabilities and accessories needed in the project such as dimming controls, sensors, and emergencies etc. In hotels, we usually spend time in several bedrooms and then create an estimation of products required rather than visiting each room individually.
This process also depends on site size and specific requirements. We aim to have the return on investment back to you within a week but we can complete this quicker when there is more urgency required. We spend time deciding on the best and most suitable products for replacement and the survey will accompany a quotation for your approval.
We do our best to try to minimise the need for redecorating by using the same size fittings where possible. At times, redecoration may be required, in this case we can support with sourcing decorators, and this is something we can work with you to organise.
This is your decision. When providing the quotation that accompanies the ROI we can quote for products as well as labour. If you require electricians, we will consult with our partners about your installation. If you are more comfortable completing the installation in–house, we can provide a quotation without labour costs.
It is possible that during the supply and installation process, there may be changes to your project based on product needs or further accessories or capabilities needing to be factored in. To mitigate this, we have an optional contingency charge of 10% that can be added to your quotation. This allows us flexibility if the project requires agile and minor changes on site. However, if your project requires more drastic changes, we will need to provide further quotations and ROIs if required.
