The Store Rooms
Back-of-house lighting needs to be safe, energy efficient, low maintenance and durable. Cellar rooms and store rooms are aften more cold meaning more damp conditions. Non-corrosive, robust battens with built in microwave sensors were installed meaning that the light will only come on when someone is in the room and automatically turn off when no one is in the room, perfect for these conditions.

Small Changes, Big Impact
The boiler room had lighting changed from fluorescent to LED which will significantly reduce the amount of energy being used which will then have an effect on reducing the energy costs for the hotel overall. Along with the boiler room, the cellar, linen store room and chemical store rooms also benefitted from having LED lighting installed. After the initial payout the hotel will soon see the positive effects of the new lighting and their return on investment.
