Bedrooms
The bedrooms in any hotel are key to customer satisfaction and Holiday Inn Express Earl’s Court was no different. There was a variety of different lamps in the Annexx bedrooms that were a focal point of ths project. In each bedroom we replaced 18w 2 Pin PLC lamps with the Philips Core Pro 6.5W LED lamp; 15W GX53 lamps with the Integral 5W LED GX53 and the 20W ES spiral lamps with the Philip ES Corepro lamp. The colour temperature of the replacement lamps was vital so that the bedrooms would have a warm and comforting ambience, perfect to aid the rest and relaxation of customers. The Products
This project required a wide variety of replacements, from downlights and tubes to emergency signage. The top products used in this project were the Ansell Tornado LED battens, used to replace fluorescent tubes and battens. We also used the Ansell Disco EVO LED Bulkhead to replace 2D Bulkheads. We also upgraded the 20W ES compact fluorescent spiral lamp for the Philips LED 5W ES Corepro A60, saving a considerable amount of energy.

The huge range of product requirements in this project were no challenge for our projects team. Although our client’s existing lighting was made up of a large range of different lamps and fittings, we made sure that we could replace each light and fitting with a high quality and long-lasting LED replacement. These changes to long-life products will mean that the products continue to save our clients’ money even in the years after the project has returned on its investment in the 1.72 years. An excellent example of an LED lighting project that can offer quick returns and savings.
