The Kitchen
A few areas of the kitchen including the kitchen main hood, and even the lighting of the sauce shelf all contribute to saving on energy costs now that the projects team have changed these lamps to LED. Commercial kitchen hoods include robust, heat-resistant lighting fixtures to ensure visibility and safety over the cooking surface. These lights are integrated into the hood and are designed to withstand high temperatures, grease, and moisture, very important for keeping food safe for consumption.
Our projects team consider all areas of the hotel because each zone has different functional and aesthetic needs.
The Products
The Ansell Tornado EVO LED batten was used in most of the back-of-house areas including storage rooms, corridors and wine cellar. LEDVANCE 600 x 600mm LED panels replaced T8 Fluorescent tubes in office areas now giving a more even light distribution. The Ansell Delta LED bulkhead replaced 2D fluorescent lamps.

The Ansell Tornado EVO LED battens were chosen for many areas of the hotel for its non-corrosive IP65 rating, emergency function and also has the added benefit of being able to switch between colour temperatures between 4000K, 5000K and 6500K. We consider every space, thinking of the conditions and positioning of the lighting as well as the brightness and aesthetics.
