Managing every step of the lighting project process, we outline potential energy and cost savings per area, total project costs and carbon reduction. During the installation we work with the hotel if any problems arise which are then smoothed out for the best outcome. When our customers are totally satisfied with the products and completed work we will then sign off and the hotel can enjoy an improved sustainable lighting experience for years to come. Some of the changes made to Hilton Garden Inn are outlined below.

Spotlight On…
The Fitness Centre
The hotel fitness centre had previously relied on compact fluorescent 2/4 pin lamps in the panel lighting, now, after the lighting project, Integral 600 x 600mm LED panel lighting keeps all of the light distribution even and all with the same colour temperatures, great news for their guests to experience.
The Products
Fire Escape areas used Disco bulkhead fittings, reception had Philips CorePro GU10 fitted along with Integral Evofire LED downlights. The fitness centre had Integral 600×600 panels installed. The Baggage cupboard used an Ansell Tornado fitting. Outside areas of the hotel had Signify Ecolink Floodlights installed.

The Bottom Line…
Small Changes, Big Impact
The reception area lighting is being used constantly through the day and night so it needed to be energy efficient. The projects’ team upgraded from MR16 halogen lamps to a better LED spot solution, installing Philips CorePro GU10 lamps with the Integral Evofire IP65, fire rated downlight. The lighting is compliant with safety requirements which is critical in hotels where guest safety is paramount. Being IP65 the light fittings are dust tight and protected from moisture so the life of the lighting is significantly increased, saving on maintenance costs.
Altogether the lighting project was completed successfully with limited distruption to the running of the hotel. The return time of investment will only be 7 months with 88% savings on energy.
