Four Seasons Hotel

Tower Bridge

With over 30 years of experience in the lighting trade, Lightsave Projects were there to help the hotel be as efficient as possible. Replacing compact fluorescent bulbs with LED and making sure that the fixtures and fittings were good quality, long lasting, meeting safety requirements and also looking great were a priority for the hotel.

In the hotel our projects team helped assess the need for emergency functionality in their light fittings to enhance overall safety. As well as safety the new lighting will use less energy which will save on costs after the initial payout.

Spotlight On…

Emergency Lighting

The hotel needed to have emergency signs on the first and second floors. These sort of signs are essential in hotels for several important safety, legal and operational reasons. Having new guests who are unfamiliar with the building layout need clear emergency signs in the event of an emergency. Also we upgraded some of the lighting to emergency bulkheads which are IP65 rated meaning that is dust and water resistant and can be used indoors and outdoors. In the event of a power shortage the emergency battery installed into the bulkhead will automatically come on so that there is still light to guide guests to around the hotel.

The kitchen area is an important part of the hotel so the lighting has to meet safety requirements. Well lit areas are crucial for preparing food under and making sure surfaces are clean. We only choose the best quality products for our projects. We work with brands that you can trust to bring superior lighting solutions. With our expert knowledge the best LED lighting was installed for optimum efficiency in the kitchen.

The Products

The Ansell Guardian bulkhead was used for emergency lighting, along with the emergency Ansell Watchman sign. The Ansell Evo Disco were perfect for corridors. The Ansell Freska replaced compact fluorescent battens in the staff cafeteria. In the kitchen there were a few different replacements from fluroescent tubing to LED, Philips CorePro LED tubing, Kosnic LED panel lighting and Bell tube lighting were used. QVIS QPIN emergency downlights in the ceilings were also installed.

The Bottom Line…

Sustainable Lighting

Each area of the hotel had specific lighting requirements that needed to be met. Lightsave Projects have addressed and overcome any issues and all newly installed LED lighting replacements are fit for purpose and the hotel will now benefit from more efficient, low maintenance lighting. After completion we can offer support with effective waste management, our projects team carefully consider our clients’ waste disposal needs and work with them to remove the waste as an added service if needed.
