Return on Investment Case Study…
Holiday Inn Maidenhead
A full LED survey was carried out for this site and as the hotel is an asylum hotel energy savings were the most important aspect of this project. Every area of the hotel, interior and exterior were changed to better energy saving alternatives which will inevitably save on annual costs.
We had to work around the residents so we made sure that they were kept happy throughout the project.

Spotlight On…
Restaurant Area
There were a mixture of halogen and LED lamps in the restaurant area which we replaced with Philips Master Value LED E27 lamps which combine the familiar shape of an incandescent lamp with the benefits of long lasting LED technology.
The kitchen had panel replacements using Integral Evo LED panels which give an even light and offer savings with low running costs.
The Products
Bell battens were used in the kitchen area for their durability in atmopsheric conditions. Philips CorePro LED GU10 lamps used in the bedrooms are along with Evofire Downlight fittings that are a safe and stylish fitting for a GU10 or MR16 LED lamp. The fully open design of the Evofire does not conceal your lamp in a large metal canister, which can trap some of the heat it generates, lowering lamp lifetime and performance, perfect for the bedrooms in this hotel. The men and women’s toilets were changed to Integral sensor downlights, the built in motion detectors will reduce energy costs as the lighting will only switch on when someone walks into the room.

The Bottom Line…
Small Changes, Big Impact
With the expertise of our projects team there were no problems in finding solutions for the many different areas of the hotel. We made sure that we could replace each light and fitting with a high quality and long lasting LED alternative.
After the initial payout, over time the amount of money that can be saved can really be seen and benefited from.
