The location of the Holiday Inn Bristol Filton near to business parks, the University of the West of England and easy access to motorways makes it a popular location. A key aim of this LED lighting project was to lower energy usage and to increase energy efficiency. During this project we replaced traditional lighting with energy efficient fixtures ensuring that many of the fittings had integrated microwave sensor systems. This aligned with the hotel’s aim to reduce energy as the microwave sensors ensure that lighting is only in use when necessary. We also ensured that lighting that required dimming functionality was replaced with appropriate dimmable LED lighting, and we also supplied a smart LED lighting system in the Ansell Octo fittings. We replaced lighting in bedrooms, store rooms, meeting rooms, staff canteen, changing rooms and offices. As a result of this project, our clients at Holiday Inn Bristol Filton were able to upgrade their lighting to maximise their energy savings.
