This London hotel is in such a central location with a high number of guests due to its proximity to an array of London landmarks such as the Tate Modern, the notorious Globe Theatre, the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, Borough Market and many many more. This hotel has a noticeable focus on sustainability and investing in becoming greener with their green wall of plants, a natural way to reduce air pollution. Their focus on energy efficiency acted as the impetus to complete an LED lighting project and we were thrilled to be able help them on their sustainability journey. This project included a site survey focusing on back-of-house areas such as offices, and linen cupboards. We also surveyed and supplied bedroom lighting. Our clients at Holiday Inn Express Southwark made use of the optional 10% contingency cost that we can include in project costs to reduce any unwanted surprises and to remain on budget. This meant that the likelihood of success was much greater, and it certainly paid off.
