Holiday Inn Express Limehouse
This modern hotel is close to many London attractions such as the O2 Arena, all accessible through the DLR. The hotel is a popular spot for corporate guests due to its proximity to London City Airport and the Excel Centre. This meant that the high-level execution of the client facing areas of this project was crucially important. This included the completion of LED replacements in the meeting rooms and business rooms. In addition to this, our clients were keen to replace lighting in various back of house areas such as the linen cupboard, staircase, boiler cupboards and staff changing rooms. We completed a full survey of the site to assess the exact requirements of our clients and supplied a wide range of different products. Overall, the execution of this project huge success.

Bedrooms
Like many of the projects we complete, our clients at Holiday Inn Express Limehouse required a variety of lighting to be installed in the bedrooms. Different types of lighting are used in bedrooms to maximise comfort and a warm ambience for guests. In the bedrooms we replaced 26W 2 Pin Twin fittings with the 6.5W LED Philips PLC 2 Pin, this lamp not only saves on energy through its much lower wattage but also runs for 30,000 hours (about 3 and a half years), an incredibly long lifetime which minimises the need for replacement thus further saving on costs. In addition to this we replaced 49W T9 Tubes with the Osram 18W LED Tube, this meant that our clients were able to maintain the specific design and need of their bedrooms.
The Products
We supplied a range of different lighting products, such as LED tubes, PLC lamps, bulkheads and panels. Furthermore, this project includes the careful replacement of outdoor lighting in the car park area aswell as the roof. This meant that the products chosen needed to be highly durable and thus suitable for outdoor conditions. We installed high quality Philips 10W LED Floodlights and the Ansell Tornado 5FT fitting which is IP65 rated (waterproof) and has integrated sensor and emergency features.
