Strategically placed emergency lighting is crucial in many industries to enhance safety and provide illumination in emergency situations.
Whether in corridors that are customer-facing, or in back-of-house areas, we can advise on emergency systems that will complement your needs.
Our emergency systems operate at very low light levels to help you save even more energy.

Essential Locations for Emergency Lighting

Corridors
These areas are likely to make up the exit routes of buildings, and they must be well lit in emergency situations so that occupants can make their way safely out of the building.

Stairwells
During emergency situations, lifts are unlikely to be in use which makes safe passage in stairwells essential. The navigation of stairs is an activity that requires adequate lighting, especially in emergency situations.

Exits
These areas must be easy to locate during an emergency so that occupants can identify and use the nearest exit.
Types of Emergency Lighting

Integrated Emergency Lights – We can supply these light fittings which are equipped with backup power sources that are activated automatically in the event of power loss.
Emergency Accessories – We can provide additional emergency accessories such as emergency modules, batteries, packs to install alongside your lighting products during your lighting project.
Maintained/ Non-Maintained – These are the two main types of emergency lighting. Maintained emergency lighting is turned on constantly. Non-Maintained emergency lighting only operates when the normal lighting or power fails.
