Its stunning sea views across the fairways and greens made it crucial for the lighting inside the clubhouse to match the spectacular exterior. This project was an excellent success, with our replacements adding functionality to lighting, essential in a space which needs to be versatile for a wide range of uses such as weddings, conferences and meetings.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room was a focal point of this project; an area where multiple different lamp types were in use, it was essential that we replaced the lights with like for like fittings so that the overall appearance and ambience of the space was unaffected. We replaced traditional high wattage candles for the Philips Corepro 4.3W Candle, which contributed hugely to the overall savings on this project. Furthermore, the dining room was fitted with 50W Halogens which we replaced with the Philips Corepro 3.5W GU10 alongside the Integral Evofire fitting. Finally, this space was also using 18W PLL lamps which we replaced with the Integral Static Downlight, this fitting is dimmable, making it a perfect addition to the space, allowing our clients to set the appropriate mood, adding to the versatility of the space. Furthermore, this fitting was selected due to it matching the existing cut out size, meaning that redecoration was not required, adding to the efficiency of the project’s completion.
The Products
Our expertise was essential for this project, especially when considering the existing switches and dimming systems in the club. The switch to LED lighting meant that we also needed to update the dimming modules to those which would be compatible with LED lighting. Hayling also had a variety of products wired to different rings which meant that each module had varying loads. We provided the Varilight Pro dimmers as a solution to this as they can be loaded up to 300W. Alongside these dimming modules, we supplied dimming plates and switches so that all products are consistent across the site, contributing to the sleek appearance. In the Bar area we replaced 50W Halogen MR16s with 6W Integrated J Series low profile fire rated downlights. Around the mirror lights in the changing rooms we added Integral strip lighting, giving the changing rooms a sleek and modern aesthetic. We also replaced the existing Edgelit panels with the Philips Ecolink Anti-glare panel, perfect to reduce glare in the office space in the club.
