Holiday Inn Brentwood
The Holiday Inn Brentwood is a contemporary hotel that is part of the LGH management group.
This project included upgrading the lighting in both guest and back of house areas, making style and functionality a priority during the decision-making process.
During this project we replaced the lighting in many areas including; meeting rooms, suites, back-of-house areas and several corridors.

The Elm Suite
Whilst a lot of this project included the replacement of corridor lighting, an area which had more complicated electrical requirements was The Elm Suite.
The Elm Suite originally had dimmable 35W Halogen MR16s in place which were replaced with the Philips Master Value 3.7W GU10 alongside the Ansell EvoFire fitting. Upon further investigation; it was also clear that it was essential to replace the back box, back plate and all the modules to ensure dimming capability.
We ensured that we could include the functionality of rotary dimmers, emergency switches, on/off switches and the inclusion of some blanks in our supply. The supply of these products means that the lighting in The Elm Suite can reach its full potential.
The Products
24 hour corridor lighting was a main contributor to The Holiday Inn Brentwood’s high lighting costs. By replacing their 16W 2D and 5ft / 6ft battens with our energy efficient Ansell Disco Bulkhead and Ansell Tornado Pro products, the hours in use are now significantly reduced. Our refitted products are also integrated with emergency functions allowing for safer and more reliable function for both their customers and staff.
